most popular housewarming gifts DIY Hair Bow Holder pillow covers farmhouse

Happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend as much as I did. It's pretty rare that I really, truly relax, but I did that ALL DAY on Mother's Day. I even took a nap with my twin girls, which was heavenly. But enough about me…; Today I am going to share a really simple DIY hair bow holder project with you. It's perfect if you have a little girlmost popular housewarming gifts, but even if you don't, it would make a WONDERFUL gift for someone that has or is expecting a baby girl! In fact, the one I made was a gift for my dearest friend's new baby girl. The best part about it is that you can TOTALLY customize it with any fabric and colors you like. 1) Start by staining your embroidery hoop.

2) Place your fabric, wrong side up, on top of the outer embroidery hoop, then place the inner loop inside.

3) Cut the excess fabric off, leaving about 1 inch of overhang.

4) Remove your fabric from the embroidery hoop. Lay it on top of the INNER hoop and cut strips of elastic to length and lay them on top of the fabric. Then place the outer loop.

5) Tighten the screw on the top of your embroidery hoop. Make sure it's very tight. Then, pull the strips of elastic until they are quite taut–;this will prevent sagging once you hang bows on the elastic. Once you are confident the elastic is taut enough, flip your bow holder over and cut off the remaining excess fabric and elastic.

That's it! How cute is it?! I love it and I absolutely love that it can be made to coordinate with any color or style of room. My friend loves it as well {at least she said she does}!
