I love Fall. It’;s definitely my favorite time of year. When I came across a paper mache pumpkin, I knew it would be fun to see how I could turn it into a centerpiece using assorted Tattered Angels products. –; shares Steph.

Steph used the?following:Paper Mache Pumpkin Tattered Angels Plain Jane Chalkboard –; Sprout Tattered Angels Plain Jane Baseboard –; Claymost popular housewarming gifts, Cardboard Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze –; Sweet Pea Tattered Angels High Impact Paint –; CopperCanvas Corp Cord –; Sisal Rope Light

Begin by painting your papier mache pumpkin with white gesso.

Paint 2-3 layers of Copper High Impact Paint.

Allow to dry, then spritz Baseboard around the stem, allowing it to flow down the pumpkin.

Spritz Sprout along the bottom. Once dry, paint on Sweet Pea Glaze to create layers of color for more natural look.

Spritz pumpkin randomly with Clay Baseboard to add some darker shading.

Tie sisal rope to the stem and your pumpkin is ready!

Getting ready for Fall or Halloween creating your own decorations can be so fun! I picked up some pumpkins from the dollar store to decorate my home. When I got home with them, I thought…; Wow! They are bright! …;so I took them to my craft room and painted them white with gesso…; it took a couple coats to cover that bright orange color…; next I pulled out my stash of tattered angels baseboard mists and chose the Cardboard color. Pssst…; this is a must-have item in your stash if you love vintage distressed looks! Trust me, you can use this on almost all projects you make …; Oh, I so so love this product!!! Okay, back to my idea…; –; as you can probably tell Kimberly is very excited about her pumpkin project!

Products Kimberly used:Tattered Angels Baseboard Mist –;?CardboardCanvas Corp Black Ticking fringeCanvas Corp Cord –; Jute Balls Natural?Canvas Corp Natural Burlap fringe sponge,?paper towelsExacta knife,?glue gun wood skewers,?wire

Paint the whole pumpkin with white gesso; let dry in between coats. It took about 2 coats to cover the orange colour.

I cut a hole in the bottom of pumpkin so I can stack them together.

Take your Cardboard mist out. You can pour some into a little tray and wipe onto the pumpkins or you can just spray them.I used a sponge that I dipped into the paint and then rubbed it all over my pumpkins.

I love how they turned out. I’;m going to get more to add them throughout the house! I had no idea they would turn out so cool!

I also picked up a cake pan and candle stick that I glued togeather with E600 glue –; this will be my platter on which I will put my pumpkin arangement…;

To the platter, glue down some floral foam then cover it with spanish moss.

Stack the pumpkins and hold in place by poking skewers into the bottom with a dollop of glue so it will stay in the pumpkin. Now you’;re ready to add all your flowers and burlap.

Now it’;s time to add so yummy jute rope and ticking strips, pinecones and grapevine sticks.

Why not gather all the supplies and have your kids involved? Let them all create their own pumpkin decorations. Maybe even use some leaves and twigs found on a recent walk as an additional deco elements.

Let the Fall fun begin!

An eclectic style celebrates differences, adds colour and sparks curiosity, but achieving it means following a few rules

"Greige is the new neutral, somewhere in the middle of gray and warm beige," says Kiley. As such, it acts as a middle ground between cooler and warmer shades, and a new option for those who are tired of the all-beige rooms of the early aughts, the gray obsession of the last five years, and the bright white interiors of the Instagram era.
