One of the things I love about the summer months is going to local farmers markets. Even though we only live about 15 minutes away from this awesome market in Cochranepersonalized housewarming gifts， Alberta， we had never been there before. I’；m sure glad we headed out there on this beautiful， sunny Saturday morning! I will definitely be making this one of my favourite markets to go to. Of course， when I think of a market， I automatically think of all the fresh fruit and veggies. There’；s really nothing like the taste of fresh， garden grown produce!floral cushion covers
There were lots of vendors selling all sorts of delicious produce and we picked up some to have for supper with our farm fresh chicken –； amazing!
These strawberries just make my mouth water!
These baskets of veggies look almost too good to eat ？？
The homemade jams and jelly selection was amazing!
Then， on to some of the vendors selling handmade goods. ？I love all these soft and lovely yarn crafts.
The beautiful silk blouses were so colourful. I think this would be a lovely photo framed.
The jewelry was gorgeous， and I love the big chunky necklaces and pretty wooden accessories.
The pottery would be awesome as a decoration on a shelf or being used as a functional canister.
We had to stop to look at all the amazing desserts!
The girls picked Kettle Corn， a mix of salty and sweet popcorn， to take home –； and it was really good!
I love how this chalkboard sign is just so perfect for a market!
We definitely had to stop at a few of the pastry and sweets booths…；
It was really hard to decided， but we finally settled on the Sweet Cherry Pie!
We stopped at the bridge along the pathway in the park where the market is held for a little break. The girls held up a sign that a sweet man selling wood items had carved their names into. We will definitely have to come back to this park for a nature hike!
I love all the colourful， handmade items.
These baskets were gorgeous!! There’；s just something about a basket that makes your house a home.
I love the rustic look of these garden ornaments.
A few more tables of fresh produce with wonderful colours!
It’；s almost that time to start thinking about pickling…；! Fresh dill is so yummy!
This was a really neat booth with a product I had never seen before， featuring Sauerkraut. We all tried the ‘；Kraut Salt’； with Beets sprinkled on popcorn， and everyone loved it， but since that was sold out we bought the Dill Kraut Salt. We’；ve tried it on popcorn and steamed veggies so far and love it!
This was one of my favourite booths with the rustic handmade wooden furniture. I’；ve got my eye on that ladder shelf ？？ I picked up a little farmhouse bath sign， but I’；ll be back!
This hula hoop booth was too fun not to include. At one point the vendor was showing off her hula skills， but I just couldn’；t get a photo! I’；m telling you， hula hooping seemed to be much easier to do when I was 10…； Did you know， according to Wikipedia， ‘；the modern hula hoop was invented in 1958’；!
These pocket watch necklaces are fantastic!
And， one last stop at the Seed clothing company where they feature clothing made of hemp and organic cotton. The texture is beautiful!
Thanks so much for travelling along to the Cochrane Farmers Market in Alberta with me and my family! If you ever find yourself near on a Saturday morning， be sure to drop by!
