We’；d like you to welcome back Erika， a creative DIYer from Cutting Edge Stencils. ？Erika decided to put an exotic twist on one of the walls in our office. For our visual fans， you’；re going to love this stencil tutorial that she put together.？ In this short videopersonalized housewarming gifts， she shows how easy it is to stencil a pretty？Mandala stencil？on an accent wall.
Let’；s walk through the steps for completing this project. The first thing she did was choose a？Mandala pattern？for this project， the Rangoli？Mandala Stencil.？This？Rangoli Mandala？Stencil was inspired by the beautiful Rangoli art of India.
With the gorgeous Mandala stencil in hand she was ready to start？stenciling! Erika used blue painter’；s tape to hold the stencil in place. You could also use spray adhesive on the stencil which would help hold it in place and reduce bleeding.
For this project， Erika used the 30 inch Rangoli Mandala Stencil and four paint colors using a stencil brush. ？She started with a beige hue， FolkArt Honeycomb.
She made sure she brushed off any excess paint on a piece of paper towel.？ Too much paint will cause the design to bleed. Then she stenciled the next color， Benjamin Moore’；s Palm Coast Teal.
Erika added a burst of vibrant color using Benjamin Moore’；s Racing Orange and New York State of Mind.
When all parts were finally painted， Erika peeled back the stencil to reveal the design.
Once the entire design was stenciled， Erika stepped back to admire the beautiful？Rangoli stencil pattern. Are you ready to see how it all turned out？？ Here is Erika’；s stenciled accent wall.
This？Mandala pattern certainly adds a splash of exotic？charm to a once plain wall and we love it!

Valentine’s Day is a day for lovers, it’s too true. Candlelit dinners, walks in the park, boxes of chocolates, heartfelt, thoughtful gifts, even engagements—but some couples don’t roll like that. Some couples keep it real, and keep it funny. Everything else is just too much. This is a list for lighthearted couples who just want to laugh.
